Maths is a chainsaw, the universe is a very messy hedge. You can trim the hedge with the chainsaw, but ultimately, chainsaws are awesome.

From 2013 to 2019 I was a Lecturer in Mathematics at Birmingham City University's school of Computing and Digital Technology, though most of my teaching was in Computer Science.

I am sufficiently interested in the Zarankiewicz problem to maintain an online database of Zarankiewicz numbers, matrices and bounds.

I have written a web application which randomly generates formulaic maths problems for you to practice and solve online.

I studied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge at undergraduate and masters level. Some of my typeset lecture notes are available here:

- Sets, Logic, Relations, and Functions (introductory, mostly notation and definitions)
- IA Analysis I (2006-2007)
- IA Numbers and Sets, Groups and Geometry (2006-2007)
